dumb or what ???

hello friends,

Welcome to dumb employee blog site. I work at one of the very big corporations in America in a technical position. I created this blog to write about my random thoughts, which have roots in work-place. I am outspoken and straightforward. while i was working and trying to be righteous, others were being clever and nicely doing the boot-lick job at work, so they have gone from tier-1 to tier-3 (direct!! yup!). lot many have been rewarded well for their "Yes sir. Ok sir. Sure sir. You are always right sir. Try this pakora sir. This gift is for you sir" and promoted to tier-2. Needless to say i hate boot-licking. why can't we all work honestly and respect each other for their talent? Why can't we all be honest and open minded about our own limitations and egos? (I guess i am asking something which is very difficult). These boot-licker's have sensitive egos, they make sure they see the Boss every day or at least every other day. God knows what do they sing in the boss's ear.

Since by now i have seen the impact of these boot-licker's and also understood that, (some) bosses in America prefer such employees. But, I am still direct, straightforward, treat everyone equally (whether boot-licker or a simple guy), I still (only) want to do my work honestly, nothing less nothing more. I am still not ready to lick the feet of the incompetent people.
Therefore some of you might call me dumb; hence this blog-site: dumbemployee, but I am trying to stay righteous and honest to my work and to my fellow human beings. I want that strength to live in me which empowers me to call a spade a spade.

I hope any reader of this blog will be able to identify with my thoughts.
